Khloe Kardashian is determined to ensure her children do not experience complaints about "childhood trauma."
The reality television personality is focused on providing her children with the best opportunities in life, while also recognizing that some challenges during childhood are unavoidable.
In the January 22 episode of her podcast, Khloe in Wonder Land, the co-founder of Good American discussed the topic of childhood trauma. Reflecting on her parenting style, she acknowledged that despite the privileged upbringing her children have, some degree of trauma may still be a part of their experiences.
"We all encounter trauma, whether it's significant or minor. I often joke that my kids better not bring up childhood trauma because they lead such amazing lives," Kardashian, 40, remarked during the episode. She continued, "And they truly do! But it's bound to happen. It's simply unavoidable."
Kardashian, who has two children, True, 6, and Tatum, 2, with her former partner Tristan Thompson, shared these insights while addressing the complexities of modern parenting.
In the inaugural episode of her podcast, Kardashian engaged in a conversation with Scott Disick about whether they would want their children to be part of the public eye.
Disick, 41, who has three children with Kourtney Kardashian Barker—Penelope, 12, Mason, 15, and Reign, 10—shared his thoughts on the matter.
"Now that we are both parents, what advice would you give to your kids? Do you want them to be involved in this world?" Kardashian inquired.
Disick responded, "I believe it's ultimately their choice."
