New Mexico Mountain Biker Creates "Go Birds" Trail for Philadelphia Eagles Supporters:
A die-hard Philadelphia Eagles supporter from New Mexico has found a unique way to express his fervent fandom—by designing bike paths that form messages for his beloved team.
An Eagles Supporter Displays Devotion in an Unconventional Manner
Even though Gerald Kady resides in Farmington, New Mexico, a location far removed from any NFL arena, his passion for the Eagles burns brightly. Unlike many fans who express their devotion through jerseys and flags, Kady creatively displays his allegiance by plotting bike routes that form messages like "Go Birds" with the aid of GPS technology.
Prior to Super Bowl LIX, Kady meticulously planned and executed a 27-mile cycling journey spanning three hours, strategically charting a course to form the message "Go Birds" with an Eagles emblem as its base.
"I'd be sitting at a red light, and suddenly I'd hear honking and shouts of 'Go Birds!'" Kady explained.
Charting the Essence of the Eagles' Spirit
Kady recorded his cycling journey using the widely-used fitness app Strava. This wasn't a new experience for him, as he had previously utilized the app to map out:

“Fly” with the Eagles logo in 2023
His creative process started by tracing maps in an old phone book before upgrading to an iPad.
"With a little bit of creativity and some artistic talent, you can do the same thing," Kady said.
Viral Fame Among Eagles Fans
After sharing his 2025 ride in a Philadelphia Eagles Facebook fan group, Kady was surprised by the overwhelming response—his post received thousands of likes and hundreds of comments.
"Just show your fandom, that’s really about it," he said.
Eagles Nation Ready for Super Bowl LIX
With the Eagles set to face the Kansas City Chiefs in a Super Bowl rematch, Kady’s creative tribute has added to the excitement among Philadelphia fans.
