However, this year's event was marred by a minor controversy involving the hosts, Magda Modra and her husband, Marek Krupski. Guests expressed their discomfort regarding their performance, prompting apologies from the organizers.

Magda Modra gained fame primarily through her participation in the reality show "Bar," where she appeared in two seasons. This exposure significantly boosted her popularity, which she leveraged to advance her acting and music career. Even after several years, she remains an active figure in the entertainment industry and on social media platforms like Instagram.

Modra has been happily married to the well-known actor Marek Krupski for many years. Their relationship is often viewed as a successful partnership, particularly highlighted by Krupski's unwavering support during Modra's recovery from a serious car accident.

Together, Modra and Krupski also present a cohesive professional team. They recently co-hosted the New Year's Presidential Concert at the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic in Szczecin.

On the first day of the event, the orchestra showcased its talents to city officials and invited guests. The following day featured a concert with tickets available for purchase. However, the event did not unfold as intended. During an intermission on the second day, Przemysław Neumann, the institution's director, took over the hosting duties.

Audience members and organizers noted that Modra and Krupski fell short of expectations, as reflected in the comments on the philharmonic's social media post. The couple faced criticism for their choice of attire, reliance on written notes, and perceived lack of preparation.

The hosts failed to meet expectations:

A concert of this caliber, especially in such a prestigious venue, necessitates adherence to certain standards. It appeared that they were entirely unprepared, relying on notes to read the entire program, which led to frequent errors and verbal missteps.

Choosing MCs with unclear diction or speech difficulties proved to be a poor decision, as their words were often difficult to comprehend, a sentiment shared by many attendees. I will refrain from commenting on Mr. Krupski's attire.

Fortunately, the concert on Saturday was salvaged by Maestro Neumann and the musicians of the Szczecin Philharmonic. After the first segment, the presenters were wisely kept off stage, as their performance was simply unacceptable. This raises the question of who selected these individuals and the rationale behind it. The second half of the concert provided some relief from the dissatisfaction expressed by many guests regarding the presenters.

Przemysław Neumann publicly expressed his disappointment with the presenters' performance and confirmed that they would not be compensated.

We acknowledge, along with the entire Philharmonic team, that the performance of the MCs during the Presidential Concerts on January 10 and 11 fell short of both our expectations and yours. The hosts struggled with their responsibilities, which detracted from the overall atmosphere and enjoyment of the event. Such performances do not align with the standards we strive to uphold and expect from our collaborators. Consequently, out of respect for our guests and the music, I took it upon myself to announce the concert personally, albeit only during the intermission of the second performance.

I regret the shortcomings in this area. Consequently, Mrs. M. Modra and Mr. M. Krupski will not receive the remuneration that was previously agreed upon. The staff at the Philharmonic in Szczecin and I have initiated measures to enhance the verification process for potential collaborators, as reported.

The spokesperson for the philharmonic also addressed the situation. In a statement to a local news source, she acknowledged the efforts of the MCs but noted that they fell short of expectations.

During the Presidential Concerts held last weekend, there were challenges in managing the event. Notably, during the second concert, to ensure its smooth execution, conductor and Director Przemysław Neumann took on additional responsibilities within the program. While we value the presenters' contributions, our standards for events like the Presidential Concert are particularly high. The feedback from our audience is crucial, which is why we diligently review all comments to maintain the highest standards in organizing and presenting future concerts. We are committed to improving every aspect of these concerts, which represent the pinnacle of our institution, stated the institution's spokesperson, Katarzyna Plater-Zyberk, in an interview with wszczecinie.pl.

We attempted to contact Modra and her husband, but as of the time of publication, we had not received a response to our inquiries.
